summer market day 1
So the day started out nice.... We got everything set up and looking pretty.
We got to see some old friends of ours that were set up at The Summer Market.
Everything started so nicely....
....Then the skies started changing and this rolled in....
...Then the rain came..... and boy did it come!..
....and then the winds came...unbelievable winds!
It took 11 people to hold our tent down!
A special thank you to the lovely family from Wooster that helped us hold the tent down!
We would have lost everything without your help!
Others were not so lucky. Some people lost everything, so I guess we were lucky.
But we will be back tomorrow. And hopefully the weather will hold out for us.
If you are in the area please stop by. It is a lovely show (except for the storm :)

These bad storms that we've been having here in Ohio can stop any time now. Your booth looked great. Glad to hear that you didn't lose anything. I feel sad for those that did.
ReplyDeleteUgh! I have had this happen to me a number of years ago. I feel your pain and the pain of those who lost their merchandise. It's so hard. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I didn't get to visit your booth, but that's because I was so busy at my own! A good problem to have; we survived Friday night's storm and the few sprinkles today. Was a very successful show for us.
ReplyDeleteman how did i miss this...what fab things you had...hope u did well ..and glad ur beautiful things where not ruined .
ReplyDeleteThose Lake Erie Storms are rough! I grew up in that area and it was always so fun to watch them roll in from the lake... not so fun when you have a tent filled treasures like yours!
ReplyDeleteHow great that you were able to show your talents outside of Union County!!!
ahhhhh we need some more posts! Love reading your blog!
ReplyDeleteCome check out our shop in North Carolina (facebook.com/ the go girl shoppe). I am sure if we got together we would do some damage hehe!
XOXO
