I found this little apron at a recent flea market.  
She is made from an old sugar sack.  
She says "Sugar  Sweet and Pure"
All her trim is hand sewn on.  
I just think she is so sweet!  No pun intended!

Its crazy how the weather changed this weekend!  
One day I was swimming in the pool in 90 degree heat, the next I was wearing a sweatshirt! 
I wonder if we will have an Indian Summer and get another shot of heat?

I'm ready for Fall!  
And the barn is getting ready for the Fall Barn Sale!

directions to french hen farm!

For those of you that are new to our barn sales, here are some directions!
We are located at 14458 Fladt Road, Marysville, Ohio.
We are just a few minutes north of Dublin, Ohio.  Just south of Marysville, Ohio.
If coming from Columbus - take 33/161 towards Marysville.  Get off exit route 42.  Make a left onto 42.  Make the first right at the stop light onto Industrial Parkway.  Turn left at the Marysville water tower onto Fladt Road.  We are the big red barn on the right.
 (there will be signs to follow once you get off on 42, so you can't miss us!)
If you are coming from Marysville, we are one road south of Scottslawn between Industrial Parkway and 736.

Doing the finishing touches on arranging and pricing ....and then i get distracted and decide to make something new!  

I need to focus and get everything done!

In addition to the velvet pumpkins we made, my daughter and I have been glittering pumpkins.
They are really beautiful under the lights.  They are perfect for decorating now and through the Holidays.

The Fall Barn Sale is Oct 1& 2.

We should be calling it French Hen Farm & Friends, because we have quite a few new friends selling their things at this sale. One of my friends will be selling some wonderful fabrics. She has collected many beautiful fabrics over the years and has decided it is time to clear them out.
