Getting ready for the Sale!

Next Barn Sale is May 7 & 8, and we are scurrying to get ready in time!
We started this weekend getting some of the flowers and herbs for the sale. They are looking so pretty!
Had to put everything in for the evening since it is supposed to be cold the next few days.
Becky and I priced and arranged the barn all day. We have way more than what will fit into the barn!
That is good for restocking the sale on Saturday!
Here is a sneak peak of one of our french mannequins with her Spring rose wreath.
We have tons of vintage finds, wonderful Mother's Day gifts, baked goods, hand made jewelry, beautiful hanging baskets, flowers, herbs and perennials.
More pictures to come!

Welcome to French Hen Farm!

Hello and welcome to French Hen Farm!
I am a designer, collector, creator, crafter, gardener, farmer, mom to two beautiful children and wife to a wonderful husband.
I have wanted to blog for several years and my sister Becky gave me a wonderful gift of a blog design by Sadie Olive.
My vision for this blog is to share my ideas, inspiration, thoughts and finds on the farm.
I have a background in fine arts and have been an artist, designer and stylist all my life. I like to take things and make them into something new.
My sisters and I got the “bug” from our parents who collected antiques from the time we were small. All vacations were based around antiquing. My sisters and I always said we would never! Ha!
We live on 100 acres of farmland where we grow flowers, herbs, vegetables, raspberries, Christmas trees and our favorite – pumpkins. We grow over 40 varieties of heirloom pumpkins!
We have semi annual Barn Sales where my sisters and I sell our treasures and vintage finds that we have collected, along with flowers, produce, home baked goodies and handmade jewelry.
We would love to see you at one of our sales.
Our next sale is Mothers Day weekend – May 7 & 8…more on that to come!
Thanks for visiting!
